Experienced but no qualifications ?
To complete a recognised training route and JIB registration, you will need to be working with an employer who completes at least 2 of the following types of work:
- Industrial
- Domestic
- Commercial
Providing your employer can meet this requirement, you need to find a local college or training provider who offers the following qualifications:
and possibly depending on your progress on the NVQ:
These qualifications will enable you to join the JIB register of electricians and be graded accordingly as an electrician. Further experience and qualifications will enable you to gain the Approved Electrician status.
