Domestic Installer Scheme Exam - Part P
Introduction
This level 2 qualification was introduced on the back of the introduction of Part P into the Building Regulations. It enables people to qualify as Domestic Installers (not electricians) and allows them to carry out and certify work in domestic installations. It is a very controversial qualification and is not highly regarded within the industry and is due to be phased out in favour of a full Level 3 qualification.
