The AoC have successfully lobbied Summit Skills and managed to secure funding for the existing 2330 until December 2010. This comes as a major sigh of relief for colleges up and down the country, many whom had bore the brunt of student complaints regarding the transition to the new qualification.
At the very least, this gives colleges the time to redevelop courses and plan in the new structure of the apprentice scheme, especially being as the NVQ portion looks to be reduced and guided learning hours have been dropped.
