Hi, this is my first post on here but I have viewed the board in the past and find it very informative, I hope you can help me ? Ive just finished my 2330 level 3 and am NOT working in the electrical industry as of yet.

My plan was to find work as a mate and complete my NVQ Level 3. Am I right in thinking that I have just wasted 2 years of my life as the 2330 are no longer relevant and will not count towards the NVQ L3 . I understand that the new 2357 is coming in and as of dec 2010 the current NVQ will no longer be available to do, in which case what was the point in doing the 2330 levels 2 and 3 if they cant/dont count towards anything ?

Will I still be able to do the NVQ level 3 or will my 2330 level 2 and 3 count towards the new 2357 ?

Will I have to do the 2357 from scratch even tho I have done 2330 Levels 2 and 3. ?

Im abit confused and worried that all my hard work over the last 2 years has been for nothing ? ?

PLEASE HELP
