Retraining with an employer?
To complete a recognised training route and JIB registration, you will need an employer who works on at least 2 of the following types of work:
- Industrial
- Domestic
- Commercial

These qualifications will enable you to join the JIB register of electricians as an electrician. Further experience and qualifications will enable you to gain the Approved Electrician status and an increase in wages.
